COTTON TWILL BALLCAP HONORING THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON
History: In 1959, Washington quarterback Bob Schloredt was 90% blind in his left eye — the result of a childhood fireworks accident — and he was also the best player in the Rose Bowl. Led by Schloredt, the Huskies entered the season unranked, won ten games, and dismantled Wisconsin 44-8 in Pasadena as a 6.5-point underdog. The following year, Schloredt broke his collarbone midseason, came back for the Rose Bowl, and beat top-ranked Minnesota 17-7 to win Washington's first national championship. Two straight Rose Bowls, two straight MVPs, and the man could barely see out of one eye.
Made from sturdy cotton twill and finished with our green satin underbrim, this ballcap honors the University of Washington Huskies.
