On October 1, 1975, Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier fought for the heavyweight championship at a sweltering arena in The Philippines. An estimated one billion people worldwide watched the fight that came to be known as “The Thrilla in Manila,” one of the greatest and most brutal boxing matches in history.
