League: American Hockey League

History: The first iteration of the Clippers played in the old Eastern Amateur Hockey League. A new Clippers franchise joined the AHL in 1962 and made the playoffs their first season. Baltimore went to the AHL finals in 1972, but lost to the Nova Scotia Voyageurs in the Calder Cup finals. The Clippers played at the Baltimore Civic Center.
