WOOL BALLCAP HONORING THE 1926 SAN LUIS POTOSI TUNEROS

History: A few years ago while researching Mexican baseball history, we found a trove of vintage photos depicting a forgotten era of Mexican baseball — when teams from civic organizations, government, the military, and early professional leagues flourished around Mexico City. Now, we’re bringing that history back with our Mystery Caps of Mexico collection: rare designs never before available through Ebbets or anywhere else.

The 1925 champion 74th Infantry Regiment club of the Mexican League moved to San Luis Potosi in 1926 and became the “Tuneros." San Luis Potosi would move in and out of the league several times through the early 1990s.

Made from genuine wool broadcloth with our signature green satin underbrim, this hat is inspired by the on-field ballcap worn by the 1926 San Luis Potosi Tuneros.
